CARTUS - USAA AST Project

Rolling out any new technology to hundreds of CARTUS Network Brokers across multiple brands spanning the entire United States requires teamwork. As a Beta Tester and then participating in this roll-out as a partner responsible for mentoring and coaching dozens of brokers and their relocation departments was a privilege. We not only on boarded these agencies, we contributed to system and process improvements in both ZAP and Lead Router throughout the project and afterwards.

ZAP Implementation

As one of the first companies to launch ZAP, migrating 130 ERA Sunrise Realty agents from BoomTown! to ZAP presented multiple challenges.  Our approach was largely "Do it for them". We captured agent profiles, head shots and other online content and re-purposed that content in multiple ERA/Realogy systems for each agent's ZAP website. Additionally, we exported each agent's BoomTown! contacts and systematically loaded contacts to agent's ZAP CRM. 

Behind the scenes, during implementation and ongoing, Lead Router settings for each agent and the broker's Business Rules were maintained. As an early adopter, we contributed opportunities to enhance ZAP and critical "bugs" to Zap Labs developers. Training agents on ZAP was/remains an ongoing process as ZAP evolves and new agents join the organization.

Lead Router Rescue

We recognize that each Realogy broker, regardless of the brand, has more than enough to manage looking after operations, compliance, transactions, marketing, agents and teams. Keeping up with systems like Lead Router, which is strategically integrated with ZAP, has become a critical component of the business for ERA Real Estate, Century 21, Coldwell Banker and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate is often overlooked. 

Many  brokers "don't know what they don't know" when it comes to Lead Router settings. Worthy Agent audits existing settings, consults with the broker and relocation director to determine exactly how you want leads distributed. Then we make those updates in Lead Router. When new agents are added to the company or relocation team, we ensure each agent is set up appropriately.

If your operation is more than just a few agents, you probably should be updating Lead Router at least once a month. Lead Router is critical for managing lead flow through your branded Zap website as well as other lead gen platforms such as Zillow, Realtor.com, and many others.

USAA Source Groups, USAA Source Areas, HES Groups and Areas, Agent assignments to these groups as well as area assignments all play a critical role in managing lead distribution and management through CARTUS. There are MANY additional settings at the agent and company level that require initial setup and periodic maintenance to ensure proper coverage.

Agent Site/ZAP Makeover

Meeting agents at their own level...all of these agents established a strong initial presence on their agent ZAP site in a matter of a few days. Some continue to enhance their presence each week - others rely on this foundation to support their business long term.
